The Poet organic cotton Indian cotton dress is the perfect relaxed dress with a timeless feel. This dress features side pockets and coconut shell buttons. This dress is part of our organic Indian cotton collection, this fabric has a soft hand feel.
Organic Cottons
Our core fabrics are all 100% organic cotton with our signature core fabric being a cotton drill in different weights along with a cotton poplin. Both fabrics are certified organic and are imported from Turkey. Another core fabric for us is 14 wale corduroy which is from India along with some textured fabrics and hand woven fabrics from a womans collective in Kerela, India. For our lighterweight cottons we have an Indian cotton, a voile and a lawn.

Repair Service
By eschewing seasons and trends, our whole aim is to deliver you a garment that will last. For us, sustainability is about buying pieces that you will wear for a very long time and, in order to achieve this, we are happy to offer free repairs on garments when the damage is caused by wear and tear. Either bring the item to the store or contact us via the link below, and we can get you on your way.
Re-Dye Service
As all our pieces are garment dyed in small batches in-house, we are able to offer our customers a “re-dye” service on our cotton-based items. For a processing fee we will either re-dye your garment in the original colour if it has started to feel jaded or stained, or if it is a light colour, we can over-dye to an alternative colour if you fancy a change. For this service you will need to either bring it into store or cover postage.
