The Poet pleat sleeve coat is made from organic heavy drill. This half lined features an inside ticket pocket, vintage stitched detailing at the neck and  binding at the cuff. The cotton covered fastening snaps are applied by hand in our Margate studio.

This coat is shower proof and has a belt tie to adjust the fit also allowing for it to be styled with or without the belt.

This garment is sized as follows:

Small - Length at centre back - 132cm / Cross back - 65cm

Medium - Length at centre back - 134cm / Cross back - 70cm

Large - Length at centre back - 134cm / Cross back - 75cm

The Poet coat is part of our organic cotton drill collection and is designed to be artfully rumpled with a soft hand feel and vintage workwear aesthetic.

PRODUCED WITH KINDNESS

Dyed To Order

We make our pieces using unbleached cotton fabrics and hand dye them in small batches in our studio in Margate. As we make and dye all pieces to order we are able to offer an extensive range of colour options. We use low impact dyes from an independent UK manufacturer and don't use any chemicals for fixing. Instead we use natural substances such as salt or bicarbonate of soda. Unfortunately there are currently no natural dyes available that are robust enough for commercial use.

Due to the nature of the hand dyed process and the different fabrics, colours may vary or appear uneven which we feel is part of the unique appeal. This colour palette is a colour guide, please click on the colours to see examples from our collection in each colour.
